VIRTUE 1:
PATIENCE
A sequoia tree is constantly changing and evolving
taking baby steps to achieve its 300+ foot greatness.
It actually starts out
as the smallest of pinecones working itself out to a
tree the size of a Christmas tree before achieving its
final form. Some take over 150
years to grow to maturity but continue to survive for
over 3000 more!
VIRTUE 2: WISDOM
The sequoia is focused on what it needs to survive. It
knows it needs fire and stress in order to regenerate
and repopulate. The heat from the fires cause the
pinecones to open and release the seeds needed for new
trees.
The trees only place
themselves in environments that are suitable for their
growth and prosperity. |
 |
The trees know how to heal
themselves when they get damaged or burned having
naturally built in defenses.
Their roots
are only 4 feet deep, however, the neighboring Sequoias
work together to intertwine their roots and provide each
other with enough support to withstand the coastal and
mountain winds.
They are highly stable, determined and
persistent, overcoming the greatest of odds.
VIRTUE 3:
GRACE
How incredible it must be to be a Sequoia -- to
stand strong in the winds, but sway and ‘go with the
flow’ – to be so unique and beautiful; to be graceful on
its own, yet part of something so incredible as a forest
of giant wonders. |

In keeping with the virtues of the
Sequoia Trees, I created Sequoia Living Systems. I help my clients patiently achieve their goals, wisely
overcome odds and heal themselves, and learn how to
gracefully just be.
My
specialty is designing individualized success solutions
focusing on decluttering. Often we take on so much
stuff, whether emotional, environmental, physical - at
work, at home, in life, that we lose sight of who we
truly are and who we want to be.
Are you ready to declutter and
live your best life today?
